Privacy, terms, refunds and licence.

By using this site or buying a licence, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are allowed to.

What we provide

We provide the software described on this site, updates to it while your licence is current, and support by email. We do not promise that the software will fit a purpose we have not described, and we do not promise your host, your email provider or a third-party plugin will behave.

What you are responsible for

You are responsible for the mail you send, for the consent behind the addresses you send to, and for following the law that applies to you — including anti-spam and data protection law. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your site.

Limits

The software is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profit, lost data or indirect losses.

We may change these terms; if we do, the version on this page is the one that applies from the date shown.

If Pro does not do what this site says it does, ask for a refund within 14 days of buying it and we will refund you in full.

Before you buy, install the free plugin. It is the same product without the Pro features, so you can confirm the CRM works on your host, with your theme and with your email provider at no cost and no risk.

We cannot refund a purchase when:

• the 14 days have passed;
• the request is only that you changed your mind after using it;
• you are asking for a feature we never claimed to have;
• the problem is caused by another plugin or by your host, and you will not let us look at it.

Renewals are the same: tell us within 14 days of the renewal charge and we will refund it. Email support@clientmingle.com with your order number.

Both plugins are licensed under the GNU General Public Licence, version 2 or later. That gives you the freedom to use, study, modify and redistribute the code, on as many sites as you like, with no functional lock.

What you buy with a Pro licence is service, not permission: automatic updates delivered to your sites, and support from us, for the number of sites and the period your licence covers. Activating more sites than your licence covers is a breach of this agreement even though the code will still run.

Support covers the plugins themselves. It does not cover writing custom code for you, fixing an unrelated plugin, or maintaining your server — though we will usually tell you what we think is wrong.

We may end a licence without a refund if it is used to distribute malware, to send unlawful mail, or to abuse our staff. Otherwise a licence ends when you stop renewing it, and the software you already installed keeps working.
